The Party Edit: My ❤ beauty companions for festive occasions
At this point I have a declaration of love to my friend Laura: We used to get ready together and I don’t know another woman who sorted a makeup cabinet as well as she does. Glitter was our theme at the time. I even glued glitter stones to my teeth with second glue.
I’d rather do without this technique today in favor of my dental health, but I’m all the more pleased with the glitter comeback in eyeshadow and nail polishes like “Set in Stones” by Essie in metallic silver. But first I would have to straighten my nails – herrje, that unfortunately looks crooked and crooked!!!
I especially like a glowing eyeliner, even if you have to ask yourself as a woman over 40 if you still wear this girly look. I think: absolutely and use the Liquid Fairy Lights by Pixi in “Bare”. I don’t have to be super precise, but I can just have the glitter opaaa.
If then the cheeks are Glow Mon Amour highlighting drops by L’Oréal Paris (Attention, very productive!) light up, it can start with me. I like to help: The Eau de Teint Makeup by Chanel Les Beiges is light and creates a “dew” look that makes it revitalizing Catrice Energizing Spray grapefruit, kiwi and vitamin C and the On-the-Glow Serum Stick by Pixie I use to refresh my skin for makeup or in between on the road. Because that winter barely started, my face stretches like crazy.
What’s still missing is a deep black mascara that conjures a dramatic eye-roll. The Caviar Volume Mascara by Laura Mercier, is one of the best I’ve ever had because it makes the eyelashes fuller, but not fully glued.
