Spring yasle nails with water-based nail colors of Gitti | Show

Painting Easter eggs fell flat this year – all the colors were sold out! That’s what I made my nails chic for. My nail look for the Easter weekend: 07 soft pink, 08 sage and 12 pink by Gitti Gitti. I’ve introduced you several times to the little Berlin beauty label. There’s a good reason for that! Did you know that conventional nail polishes can often contain toxic ingredients that are not only carcinogenic, but also have an impact on fertility? I say, “No thanks!”

Gitti took the “paint” out of the nail polish. The patented formula is 55% water-based, vegan, odourless and animal-free.
Here’s how I go step by step about my Pastel Nails:
  1. Clean the nails and refine them in shape. Then brush Base & Top Coat (practical 2in1 solution!). Wait about 3 minutes.
  2. Apply nail paint layer No. 1 and let it dry for about 5 minutes.
  3. Nail paint layer No. 2 and leave to dry for another 5 minutes.
  4. Re-brush the Base & Top Coat for sealing and cooling for 10 minutes to avoid quirks.

The secret to a long shelf life: Very thin layers, less is really more here. I like to paint the colours in advance on a piece of paper, to choose the most beautiful combination. After that, avoid contact with hot water for about two hours. For me, the look lasted two days amazing.
