ADO Den Haag acquires striker Catic transfer-free from PSV | Right away

ADO Den Haag strengthened with Amar Catic on Wednesday. The 21-year-old youth international from Bosnia-Herzegovina is transfer-free from PSV and is on a three-year signed.

The Tilburg-born striker played for Jong PSV. He made his debut in the first team in August 2018 in the Europa League preliminary round against Apollon Limassol, but a breakthrough was not achieved.

In The Hague, Catic is hoping for more playing time in the Eredivisie. “It feels like the right step for me. ADO The Hague is for me the perfect place to be of value on the field, but at the same time to develop myself,” he says Website of his new club.

Martin Jol, head of ado’s technical heart, hopes that the speed of catic will make the team more energetic. “Speed is Amar’s greatest force. This has squandered the opportunities for our new head coach Aleksandar Rankovic, who also wants to have dynamism and agility at the forefront.”

ADO, which finished 17th last season, has already strengthened with Kees de Boer (Swansea City), Emilio Estevez Tsai (York9 FC), Peet Bijen (FC Twente) and Samy Bourard (FC Eindhoven).
