The washing machine
Because clothes are often washed at low temperatures and sometimes get stuck in your machine with short programs, dirt and laundry products. That’s why it’s a good idea to run your machine once a month, without clothes and with baking powder, at 90oC. It is also recommended to clean the pump filter regularly by flushing it underwater. Don’t forget to ventilate your machine by opening the drum door and laundry product compartment after each use.
The oven
Dirt and grease accumulate easily in the oven. A deep cleansing from time to time is therefore not too much. To do this, place a bowl of water with the necessary amount of baking powder in your oven and set it to the highest possible temperature. If your oven is very dirty, you can mix baking powder and water in a cup and apply the dough directly to the sides. Once your oven has cooled down, you can rub it with a damp sponge, and it will look like new!
The fridge
To clean the inside of the fridge, mix water, white vinegar and lemon juice and apply the solution with a non-abrasive sponge. While lemon neutralizes bad odors, white vinegar will be able to disinfect naturally. It is recommended to clean up once a week. To clean the outside of the refrigerator, you can use household alcohol. It will easily remove fingerprints and stains on stainless steel doors.
The microwave
It’s easy to clean your microwave. Mix lemon juice, water and white vinegar in a bowl. Bring to the boil and let the fog work on the sides. All you have to do is wipe with a sponge and you’re done!
The dishwasher
It is recommended to check the condition of the filter very regularly and to clean it if necessary. To avoid clogging the drain, it is best to rinse the dirty dishes under water before putting them in the dishwasher. And don’t forget to let your dishes cool down 30 minutes after a washing in The Dishwasher. The heat released can be harmful to kitchen materials directly above your appliance, such as the worktop. Run your dishwasher empty from time to time.
Vitro ceramic plaques
Ceramic plaques require very regular maintenance. Although there are special products for cleaning and protecting plates, natural products can also be a good solution. With lemon you can clean the plates either with the juice or by cutting the fruit in half and rub half directly on the dirty surface. White vinegar and baking powder (mixed with water) are also products that can clean and make your plates brighter. Black soap is also a good solution thanks to its ultra-degreasing performance. Always use a soft cloth or sponge without abrasives to avoid applying the plates.
