3 tips to better organize your wardrobe

Design and home

On this June 21st we will be officially in the summer, the perfect time to make room for summer outfits. On this occasion, we will give you three tips to organize your dressing and make your life easier.

It’s back to the good old days. No more sweaters and long trousers, no more lighter outfits. And to keep you from wasting too much time in the morning choosing your clothes, we’ll give you some tips that will help you every day.

Sort

Start by opening your closet and taking out everything you haven’t plugged in for a year. This is the most difficult time to get rid of all those you know under these dresses for a fact that you will never put it back. You can resell them on a second-hand site, organize an empty cloakroom or just give it to a club. After that, you felt much better.

Once this step is complete, you can save the remaining outfits. The heaviest and bulkiest parts are placed in the bottom of the cabinets. On the other hand, outfits and accessories that are worn less frequently can be stored in less accessible areas such as high-rise planks in your cupboards. Avoid placing two stacks of clothes in front of each other to avoid that an entire part of your wardrobe is inaccessible and always wears the same outfits.

The folding

To save space and, most importantly, prevent your clothes from crumpled, it is very important to fold them well. There are several folding methods. The storage ace, Marie Kondo, advises, for example, to fold the sweaters in the form of a pudding. In this way, they take up less space and can be easily stored in boxes to be accessible.

No matter which method you use, the most important and use the same for all your clothes to maximize your space. Once your clothes are folded and stowed, remember to take out the pile that interests you completely to prevent your pretty clothes from getting into a ball in a few days.

The hangers

If it sounds harmless, choosing your hanger is very useful for a neat dressing room. First of all, avoid the hangers of dry and dry cleaners. These, very thin, can distort your clothes in the long run. It is better to opt for more robust models.

They also avoid placing more than one garment per hanger at the risk of damaging them more quickly. Finally, you should store all your hangers in the same direction to create more homogeneity and mobility.

Three tricks that may seem very simple, but whose effectiveness is no longer to be proven.
